How long does setup take?
About 30 seconds. Scan the setup QR once, paste your Google review link, tap activate. No app to download, no account required to start, nothing to charge or plug in.
How do staff actually use it?
Keep it in a pocket, apron, or on a lanyard. When a customer says something nice, that’s the cue: “Would you mind sharing that on Google? Just tap your phone here.” The page is open before the sentence ends.
Will it work with my customers’ phones?
Any Android with NFC (most phones since 2016) and iPhones from 2018 onward (XS/XR and newer) open the review page with a tap. Older phones simply scan the printed QR code instead — every Veloxly carries both, so nobody is left out.
Why not just print a free QR code?
You can — but a tap is faster than unlocking the camera, framing a code, and waiting for the link. Lower friction means more finished reviews, and a purpose-built unit on the counter looks like something worth tapping rather than a laminated sheet. You also get a dashboard that counts every tap, which a printed code can’t do.
Is there a subscription?
No. One purchase, yours forever. No monthly fees, no premium tier, no renewal. The redirect service is part of the product.
Can I change my Google link later?
Yes, free, forever. Sign in to your dashboard and update the URL — moves, rebrands, and new Google Business Profiles are all covered. The unit itself never needs reprogramming.
I have multiple locations. Can each unit point somewhere different?
Yes. Every unit has its own serial and programs independently during its 30-second setup, so a multi-pack can cover several locations — or several counters at one location, all pointing at the same profile.
What if it doesn’t work for my business?
Return it within 60 days for a full refund — no questions, no forms, no restocking fees. If a unit is ever defective, we replace it.
